Vedeckov\u00fdskumne sa zameriava na \u0161tylistiku slovensk\u00e9ho jazyka, pragmalingvistiku a medi\u00e1lne \u017e\u00e1nre. V r\u00e1mci pedagogickej \u010dinnosti sa orientuje na problematiku \u0161t\u00fdlu a \u0161tylistiky, ortografie, r\u00e9toriky, \u017eurnalistick\u00fdch \u017e\u00e1nrov a na v\u00fdu\u010dbu slovensk\u00e9ho jazyka pre cudzincov. Od roku 2016 vyu\u010duje sloven\u010dinu ako cudz\u00ed jazyk pre ukrajinsk\u00fdch \u0161tudentov. V rokoch 2016 \u2013 2019 bola lektorkou sloven\u010diny ako cudzieho jazyka v r\u00e1mci letn\u00e9ho intenz\u00edvneho pr\u00edpravn\u00e9ho kurzu pred semestrom na Pre\u0161ovskej univerzite v Pre\u0161ove.
